Networking is the KEY to success!
Are you someone who has the drive and potential to run their own business? Are you interested in becoming a business professional who is in charge of yourself? Heathrow & Legacy Club host the bi-weekly meetings each month for WOAMTEC for the Heathrow chapter and as of this month, the Longwood-Altamonte chapter as well! This new chapter is growing like wildfire! We love all of the support and connections we are gaining and we look forward to seeing more new faces in the near future!
What Is WOAMTEC?
WOAMTEC stands for Women on a Mission to Earn Commission. It is a group of women (and several men) who meet to discuss their personal selling or their businesses and get word out about the services that they offer. They host business building events to network and get to know one another, share ideas, offer support and create business connections. The goal of WOAMTEC is to your business and strengthen the community. Why WOAMTEC?
Not only do you build business connections, you create friendships! Many of the women in WOAMTEC have known each other since the start and have become a close knit group of women. It is also an opportunity to build your professional network and you know that you have a group of women who will continually support and encourage you as well as refer people to you and your business! Our very own Toni Curlin is the Director of the Longwood-Altamonte chapter and we are so lucky and pleased to have her! Without her INCREDIBLE connections, we would not have half of the AMAZING vendors that we do for our events at each club!
How Can You Get Involved?
Join us for the Holiday Luncheon at Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes on Wednesday, December 9th at 11:30 AM! There will be a BEAUTIFUL buffet, networking opportunities, and of course it wouldn't be a holiday party without a game of White Elephant! Bring your business cards and your gifts and come check out the Longwood-Altamonte Chapter of WOAMTEC in action! We are also collecting unwrapped toys for Safe House of Seminole County for women and children. Jeanne Gold, the CEO of Safe House will be in attendance to take any donations to ensure the kids will have a gift to open on Christmas morning! Any donations are GREATLY appreciated! We look forward to meeting you and networking with new businesses!
*Lunch is $20 inclusive*
PLEASE contact Toni Curlin at tcurlin@heathrowcc.com for more information or just to attend a meeting and see what WOAMTEC is all about! We love new faces and being involved in new business ventures!
